Our members are at the heart of everything we do. To show how much we care about them, we celebrated member appreciation weeks from June 19th-30th to thank our members for making MakeOffices such a great place to spend the majority of their waking hours. We’re so grateful that you joined the MakeOffices community.
We started with a small location in Rosslyn in 2013. Four years later, we have almost 3,000 members across 10 locations in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC. We couldn’t have gotten to this point without our members, and we celebrated with two weeks of events, giveaways, social media challenges, and plenty of food/drinks.
Here is a recap of some of the most memorable events that helped make the two weeks a success:
1. Mixology Class at MakeOffices Magnificent Mile
Our newest shared office space in Chicago held a Mixology class with local startup CraftYours. Our Mag Mile members stepped up their home bartending game and learned how to MAKE a Spicy Mexican Mule, along with other libations. Needless to say, it was a good time had by all.
2. Bring Your Dog to Work Day at MakeOffices Bethesda
Some of our industrious, furry friends joined us for Bring Your Dog to Work Day in Bethesda. It was a ruff day at the office! #dogsofmakeoffices
3. Wellness Wednesday Massages At MakeOffices Center City
We focused on wellness and treated our members to relaxing , knot-removing massages at our Philadelphia coworking space to keep their best versions of themselves. Scott from Massage by Design did a great job.
4. Made-to-Order Omelettes at MakeOffices Clarendon
Our Clarendon members enjoyed made-to-order omelettes for breakfast.
5. Catered Lunch at MakeOffices Tysons
Our friends and neighbors at Bangkok Thai came by and treated our members to some amazing Thai food for lunch.
It was great to see new and existing members connect with each other at the events, chat about their work, and make lasting connections, and we loved facilitating it.
We’re truly thankful for our wonderful members at all of our coworking communities, and Member Appreciation Week was a small token of our gratitude. We look forward to growing together in the future.
