  • 1. What is coworking?

    Coworking is changing how we work. At it’s core, coworking occurs when entrepreneurs, freelancers, and businesses large and small collide in a shared working environment and create synergies.

  • 2. Is coworking a better alternative than traditional office space?

    We think so. Here’ s why joining a coworking space is better than getting your own office space:

    • Affordable & Flexible– Lose the long-term lease that eats up your cash flow. Our plans are month-month, so you can keep your overhead low and invest more in your business.
    • Scalable– Only pay for the space you need. Need to upgrade or downgrade? Not a problem.
    • Hassle-Free – Don’t worry about who’s ordering more coffee or setting up the Internet. All of that is included in your monthy rent, so you can focus your time and energy on what matters to your business.
    • Grow Your Client Roster Without Leaving – Client acquisition starts here as you’ll share the space with other businesses and startups looking to grow. Coworking is the new networking! Tough to do from your own office/home office, and a lot less expensive.

  • 3. What does membership at MakeOffices include?

    Your MakeOffices membership includes the office infrastructure you need and the amenities you want. Specifically:

    • Really fast WiFi
    • Furnished workspaces including desks and chairs.
    • Conference room time
    • Printing, copying, scanning
    • Exciting networking events and opportunities to make connections with like-minded people and grow your client roster
    • All the craft beer, gourmet coffee, and purified water you can drink
    • Relaxation rooms and massage chairs

  • 4. Are there any hidden fees?

    None whatsoever. We pride ourselves on being a partner dedicated to the success of your business, and will never nickel-and-dime you with hidden fees.

  • 5. When can I move in?

    Later today! Just sign an agreement, fire up your laptop, and get to work!

  • 6. How many hours of conference room time do I get?

    It depends on the type of membership.

    • Virtual offices – 2 hours
    • Open desk – 3 hours
    • Private Office – varies by size.
    Additional conference rooms are also available for purchase, if you ever run out.

  • 7. What’s the termination policy?

    Just provide 30 days written notice on the 1st day of the month, for an end of the month termination. For example, if you’d like to end your membership at the end of October, you must provide your written notice no later than October 1st. That’s all there is to it. Fair and transparent.

  • 8. Do you have month-month memberships?

    We do have month-month memberships to provide you with the utmost flexibility and affordability! We know what it’s like to be a bootstrapped startup on a tight budget, and deliver a productive, budget-friendly, accommodating workspace.

  • 9. What kind of events do you host for members?

    From Google Adwords workshops to lunch & learns on startup fundraising, our events are designed to facilitate meaningful conversations and deliver actionable ideas to grow your business. We also sponsor monthly member breakfasts & happy hours so you can get to know your neighbors.

  • 10. When can I access the space?

    All of our workspaces are open 24/7 so you can hustle hard at your leisure.
