Nate Williams is the CEO and one of the founders of Flex.io, a SaaS company that connects different apps in the cloud. When the company relocated to downtown Chicago, he used a broker to find an office space and signed a 3 year lease for his growing team of about 10 people. He had to pay an additional cost for his Internet connection and electricity. More burdensome, if there ever was a problem, he had to spend time and resources dealing with his Internet provider. Once his lease was up, he was looking to find a low cost solution since many of his team members were now working remotely.

The Solution – A Clean, Organized, Productive Office Space

Since this was a big decision for Nate, he toured eight coworking spaces in Chicago. He decided to become a member at MakeOffices at the Loop in October 2016 and hasn’t looked back. He chose MakeOffices over the other coworking spaces he toured because of the value for the space. He liked the size of his office, and that there were walls between his offices, not glass like some of the other coworking spaces he toured, which made him feel uncomfortable and in a fishbowl.

The space is clean, well-organized, and beautiful. The other coworking spaces he toured were too chaotic. Most importantly, he needed a place to be productive and found that at MakeOffices. “Productivity is the number one thing. If I can’t be productive, why am I in the space?”
